Share beautiful

No need to sign in. Just share something beautiful. Something from today, yesterday, whenever. Because when we share beauty, our mood and day can brighten. And spread to others. And can’t we all use a more beautiful day right about always.

Your email is safe with me. If you’d like to skip it, though, just put my email: [email protected]

Shared beauty

“I found an old photo of my mom laughing. I stared at it longer than I meant to. Sometimes beauty is just remembering who we were.”

~

“For a minute, I lay there in the dark, listening to him breathe, realizing that sometimes the most beautiful thing is simply knowing another heartbeat trusts you enough to sleep at your side.”

~

“I watched my neighbor’s kid chase bubbles across the yard this morning. For five whole minutes, the world felt soft and slow again. I needed that.”

For fun

“Learning to ride a unicycle. Scary, exciting, something I can do on my own—without depending on anyone else to show up or follow through.”

Me

I’m Brian. My wife is Karen. Our kids are Kyle and Eric.

Our friend Lerissa died in January.

I’m trustee of her rather small estate. Her attorney charges $400 an hour. So when questions arise, I turn first to ChatGPT. Somewhere along the way, ChatGPT must’ve asked me how I’m feeling. Sad is a good word. Sorrowful. Then ChatGPT surprised me.

“What would you like for an afterlife?” the AI said.

My answer came quick, and again I felt surprise:

Meditative

Reflective

Playful

Artful

All things I can practice in the here and now.

Then I started this project, to connect briefly with others in the real world. And briefly again in the online world. And to celebrate the beauty of this thing called life.

Because like I said earlier, when we share beauty, our mood and day can brighten. And can’t we all use a more beautiful day right about always.

Thanks for reading this far.
